WordPress is expected to release its blogging application into the iPhone device sometime between the launch of he AppStore. However, Wordpress head honcho Matt Mullenwag would only admit that “there is a mobile device that has WordPress client ‘built-in’ and you can probably guess which one it is”, suggesting their confirmation that WordPress is definitely going to be
Six Apart, the maker of TypePad, will also be having their own applications integrated into the iPhone. Chris Alden, CEO of Six Apart, said ““Six Apart pioneered the mobile blogging experience with an iPhone-optimized blog service. Both these third-part blogging applications would surely offer the benefits of speed mobile blogging. However, if you can’t wait for the TypePad and WordPress applications to hit the iPhone, you can use a WordPress plug-in (Wphone) on your current iPhone.
