Aside from United States, Mobistar from Beligum has also confirmed that they will be selling the second-generation iPhone in the country. Unlike Canada, 3G iPhone anticipators will get their hands on the much-awaited device, the same date that the Americans will do.

Mobistar has also announced their service plans and the price for the 3G iPhones. But unlike AT&T, the 3G iPhones can be unlocked. Moreover, the customers do not have to sign up any subscription if they do not wish to use the service of Mobistar. Mobistar is only complying with the local law in Belgium.

The 8 GB model of the 3G iPhone will be sold for as much as €525, almost equivalent to $825. On the other hand, the 16 GB model




of the second-generation iPhone can be purchased for €615 or $967.

Currently, there are three plans to choose from, offered by Mobistar to those who will to subscribe. The cheapest is the plan called My30 since it will only cost €30 or $47 a month. This includes 300 text messages, 3 hours of voice calls and 200 MB worth of data. The My45 plan includes 6 hours of voice calls, 600 text messages and 500 MB worth of data for €45 or $71 a month. The highest plan is called My60 which includes 900 text messages, 9 hours of voice calls, and 1 GB worth of data which costs €60 or $94 a month. All of the said plans are subject to a 2-year contract with Mobistar.
