It has been a week since Apple Inc. finally released the second-generation iPhone in the market. Long lines were formed during that day. But until now, there are still more long queues forming at the Apple Inc.’s store located in Oxmoor Center.

iPhone 3G

There are more than 20 customers who lined up, looking for an available 3G iPhone. The line stretched from the back of the said store and almost out the door when the store opened 10 in the morning.

Peter Sheltz, a 66-year old customer who wanted to purchase a 3G iPhone, said that the smartphone is not just a simple mobile phone. He just had a

smartphone from a competing mobile network manufacturer but the 3G iPhone is simply fantastic.

A year ago, Apple Inc. began selling a revolutionary product that serves as a wireless phone, a video and music player, an e-mail device, a web browser, and a PDA. The first-generation iPhone costs as much as $600 during its debut. However, Apple Inc. decided to subsidise the second-generation iPhone so that it will be more affordable for the customers. The 8 GB model is priced at $199 while the 16 GB model is only $299. Upon purchasing any of the models, the customers must sign for a two-year contract with the respective carriers in their country.
