We’ve seen several iPhone battery cases/extenders—and we’ve liked what we’ve seen. But offerings like the Fastmac iV have been a bit on the pudgy side so far. The new Morphie may be changing that.

The Mophie Juicepack Air is slated to be the slimmest iPhone battery boosting case yet. Packed with a 1200 mAH lithium polymer battery, the Juicepack Air can function as a regular iPhone case, or it can be switched out of “standby” to add 4.5 hours of talk/surf time to the handset, which is sorely needed if you use the phone for any length of time without needing to recharge.

Most compaints about the iPhone have in some way referenced the battery life (which actually improved with the 3G model), so this juicer should be definitely come in handy for those on the go.

Priced at $80 and available this Spring, it appear this may be new standard to increasing the life of your beloved Apple handset.
