Altec Lansing has just announced that its digital audio system called T612(TM) has just received the “Works with iPhone” certification as it passed the test requirements needed so it can work with the second-generation iPhone from Apple Inc. The T612 is a product that can deliver high-quality sound for multimedia and music. Moreover, the T612 supports the call features of the second-generation iPhone as well.

According to Bernice Cramer, the senior vice-president of Altec Lansing’s Marketing and Product Development, their company has a unique legacy of creating products that are suited for the latest technology. If you would remember, Altec Lansing




has just released a speaker dock that would for the first-generation iPhone. The said product also got the “Works with iPhone” certification from Apple Inc.

Last January, the T612 from Altec Lansing already received the “Works with iPhone” certification. However, during that time, the T612 is only compatible with Apple Inc.’s first-generation iPhone. Since the product was released in the market, Altec Lansing received positive feedbacks from the iPhone users. It even got 4.5 ranking (out of 5) at the http://store.apple.com/us. Aside from the Apple Store, amazon.com gave the T612 4 stars out of 5 because of the product’s great sound performance.
