As Apple Inc prepares for the release of the new 3G iPhone in the market, the third-party developers are also gearing up to have their applications run on the smartphone. These applications were built from the SDK of the iPhone that was announced by Apple last March. Below is the list of some of the new iPhone applications that are hoping to run on the second-generation iPhone.

Super Monkey Ball

• An iPhone version of the game called Super Monkey Ball from Sega. This game can be availed at the iPhone App Store for only $9.99
• The Associated Press. This application would allow the users to

know the local news depending on where they are located.
• Enigmo and Croman Rally. Each game is worth $9.99 each. Enigmo is a puzzle game while the Croman Rally on the other hand is another race game where the cars are similar to the vehicles in the cartoon Flinstones.
• At Bat from MLB.com. This application shows the video highlights as well as the statistics of the baseball games.
• MIMVista. An application for the students of medicine as well as doctors so that they can view the PET scans and the CT scans on their smartphones.

I’m sure information on many more will surface soon.
