Native messaging applications are starting to show up everywhere. Last week, I told you about Apollo IM, which was the first native messaging app for the iPhone. They have just released an update to the application with several new features and bug fixes.
Today, a new messaging application has hit the streets, and the company better watch out considering that application might have the Apple attorneys scrutinizing that one.
Twenty08.com has released a beta version of MobileChat–a new AIM client for your iPhone. Some of the feature include:
- AIM
- IM Abilities
- Full Buddylist with Statuses
- Change status: Away & Online
- Suspend and stay online
- Sound notifications
- Popup Notifications
Although I have not tried the two applications, it is reported that both applications seem to be very usable at the moment. To install these native applications, use Installer.app which allows you to install and update iPhone native applications by Wifi or EDGE without any PC connectivity.
