New mutli-platform blogging tool iBlogger released for the iPhone
Bloggers looking to post to blogs from their iPhone have a new window opened to them in illumineX’s new iBlogger 1.0.5 app, released today and available from the App Store with a $9.99 price tag.

Based on illumineX’s Mac blogging application Ecto that has been in development since 1998, iBlogger is fully compatible with many of the most common standard blogging systems, such as MovableType, TypPad, WordPress, Drupal and others. It also works with popular blog hosting services like Xanga and Blogger, as well as the MetaWeblog and MovableType standards that most other blog engines use.
With iBlogger, users can post blog entries, as well as also upload images from their iPhone to their posts, adding tags and custom categories, inserting hyperlink URLs, and even inserting a Google map pic of their current location at the tap of a button. Real Simple Discovery and automatic configuration makes setting up blogs easy and quick.
iBlogger operates on an iPhone or iPod touch running iPhone version 2.0 or later.
