Even if you have the still hands of a sleeping person, night shots with a cellphone camera will often turn out a blurry mess. Night Camera for the iPhone detects motion and pulls the trigger when your hands are at their steadiest, automatically.

Night Camera

When you press the shutter button with Night Camera, the app starts taking accelerometer readings for three seconds; when the sensor determines that you’re holding the camera steadily, Night Camera triggers the shutter at that exact instant. Accelerometer sensitivity and sensor

reading time are all configurable via an options panel.

Since a harsh flash in darker situations is often your worst enemy as a photographer, this is a great feature for helping battle the blurriness brought on by hand-holding your shots at low speeds. I’d welcome this feature on my regular cameras, too.

Night Camera is $1 , but only for a limited time (no cutoff date given), so grab it ASAP if you’re big into using the camera of your iPhone.

Good Concept. Haven’t tested it yet but I will soon.
