One developer’s guide to building and marketing an iPhone app
Ten23 Software developed PhotoKast, a very popular photo rating app for the iPhone, and Mashable (a popular tech blog) published an article about the development of the app, the thought process that went into it, and how to market an iPhone app successfully in today’s App Store environment.

It’s a bit of a self-serving sort of thing (parts border on chewy, feel-good self-marketing), but this is actually some great tips and thoughts about the whole process, and it definitely gives newbie iPhone devs food for thought.

Give it a read if you’re considering developing an iPhone app to get an insider’s view of success, serving lots of ads with little cash to show for it, and what’s most important to consider in the long run.
