The rumor of France Telecom’s Orange winning the exclusive right to sell the iPhone in France was false according to Orange executive director Louis-Pierre Wenes in an interview with Paris Match magazine. Wenes additionally mentioned it would take weeks not days for a company to finalize agreements with Apple for that exclusive contract.
Now that that part
of the rumor is false it certainly causes skepticism towards how legit the rest of the rumor is. Does that mean that Deutsche Telekom in Germany and O2 in the UK are simply paper thin rumors? possibly Vodafone has a chance after all…
