PocketMac launches for the iPhone
Information Appliance Associates has announced the launch of PocketMac for the iPhone, a new sync utility for iPhone users on the Mac. It carries a $29.95 price tag.

The primary function of PocketMac for the iPhone is to add new ways to sync data to the iPhone. You can use it to sync data with Microsoft Entourage, Meeting Maker and Lotus Notes, for example, easily and quickly. It also acts as a backup tool; PocketMac for iPhone backs up your iPhone’s call log, SMS text messages, etc. with a few clicks.
Included with PocketMac for iPhone is BackupViewer, an app that lets you review call logs and text messages or export them to a text file for viewing later. BackupViewer can also automatically add contact data sent in 411 texts to the Address Book for easy access later.
