Popular Shazam app update available for the iPhone
The popular music identification service Shazam has been enhanced to provide a more personal experience for Apple iPhone users.

It’s the one shown on that commercial, remember? Shazam enables users to identify the name, artist and album of a song they are listening to before purchasing the track through various affiliated partners.
In the latest updated version, users will have access to even more artist information when they ‘tag’ a song – including artist discographies, biographies, track and album reviews, with song lyrics expected to follow in the US and UK next year.
Shazam users will also be able to organise their tags via artist, title or date, while iPhone users will be able to attach their own photos to tags, giving them a more personal touch.
Another useful addition to Shazam on the iPhone is the applications ability to store tags in a “pending” status. This means that users will be able to capture a song even when they have no access to the internet, before identifying the track when they re-enter a Wi-Fi hotspot or gain data coverage later on. Very cool.
This latest updated version of Shazam is available for free on both iPhone and second generation iPod touch devices, from the Apple App Store right now.
