HarperCollins Publishers, one of the world’s largest publishing companies has announced a pilot program to bring excerpts of new titles specifically for the iPhone. Users can actually read up to 10 pages of the first two chapters of a dozen new releases with their ”Browse Inside” feature.

A spokesperson for the publishing giant was quick to point out that they currently have by 10,000 titles digitized and presumably ready for download and view on the iPhone.
