There is unconfirmed report that the first 3rd party, non-safari iPhone app was fired off today, somewhere in the world. One committed hacker who goes by “Nightwatch” did the compilation and executed the program using his ARM/Mach-O Toolchain.

If that is indeed
true, that very day could nearly be as critical as
iDay, laying the groundwork for 3rd party applications to run on what’s considered as a closed device.
