RSS support comes to iPhone

Really Simple Syndication, known better as RSS, is a great way to keep you updated on the latest news. A better solution is keeping you updated with your favorite RSS feeds on your iPhone via Google Reader. With the new “Feeds” application, you can bring another functional feature into your iPhone.

Feeds

Feeds is in beta now, but the application is looking very promising. The good thing about this feature is you don’t have to sort through and manually subscribe to all your existing feeds again and import an “opml file”. All users have to do is enter their Google Reader username and password, then they could easily view the latest RSS feeds. Not only would the feeds be available on your iPhone device, they are also synced back to your Google Reader, so every time you read a news or article on the iPhone, Google Reader reflects this action.

Feeds is a great application that brings functionality into you mobile device. When this application comes out of beta, it would be good to see other features it could provide. To install Feeds, add this URL http://424f.com/iphone/repository into your device and “Feeds” would show up under the Network category.
