GPS is global positioning system which is used as a navigation device. This device gives the exact details about a city or a place wherever one is using it. GPS is widely used by travelers and military personnel of nations all over the world. This handy device can also be easily installed in your cars which gives you a reference map about the place of destination. Apples’ new iPhones has a camera, mp3 player with video playback and many such other features. The Apple iPhone still doesn’t have a GPS system integrated in it. There are rumors in the market that the new generation Apple iPhones which will be launched in the market will be GPS enabled.
These new iPhones are expected to hit the markets in the spring of 2008. This phone
will enable its users to get help from this amazing software. It could work wonders for sales of Apple iPhones. People who will have this phone wont need to carry a separate GPS device with them. The GPS version which will be installed in this phone will be the latest version and same as found in gadgets solely dedicated to GPS. People believe that Apple might install a SiRF Star III chip or some other chip having the similar functionality. This GPS which will be installed in the phone will be very fast and can give accurate information in crowded cities with mega buildings. SiRF earlier in their press conference talked about their link up with NXP software’s to improve their existing technology. This GPS technology will certainly take iPhone to the next level.
