The telecommunication firm Starbucks in a recent development has decided to change its long-time Wi-Fi hot spot network provider partner T-Mobile, and tap the services of AT&T. AT&T, which offers wireless services, on expansion could cater to a free network for users of the iPhone and possibly the iPod touch.
Presently, the service will be available to 100,000 Starbucks employees, 12 million U-Verse DSL subscribers, and even T-Mobile HotSpot subscribers at no extra cost. Although, there is no assurance from AT&T about the probabilities of Apple IPhone users getting a free access to Starbucks. However, AT&T officials are positive that they are considering bringing more value to their iPhone customers and thereby keeping all options open.

Conversely, if Starbucks-AT&T can provide a better integrated network, then, iPhones or iPod Touch could be distinctively acknowledged and logged in with no added effort. Nonetheless, Starbucks has also assured that, one factor that complicated things in the past for a person carrying multiple Wi-Fi-enabled devices, like a MacBook and an iPhone;(experiencing network prohibition following simultaneous logins using the same account) is apparently non-existent here
