Store your files in a virtual Briefcase with your iPhone
Hey Mac Software has announced the launch of Briefcase, a file transfer software utility for the iPhone. It’s available for download from the App Store for $4.99; a free “Lite” version with limited functionality is also available.

Briefcase enables you to transfer files from iPhone to iPhone without using any cables and without having to switch back and forth from the Mac to the iPhone. It uses zero-configuration networking technology to locate, connect and browse computers and iPhones. You can connect to any machine that supports Secure Shell (SSH). You can download files and directories, and view and upload files.
The difference with the “Lite” version is that you can view and browse files, but you cannot upload directories.
Hey Mac Software’s Briefcase file transfer software is now available at both the US and Canadian iPhone App Store. It is expected to be available in Apple’s European app stores later this week and in their Asian app stores by the end of November.
