Borrowing from Secret’s deodorant slogan, “iPhone is good sufficient for business users, but designed for consumers.”  It’s clear that Apple designed the iPhone for consumers, but that doesn’t stop business public from lusting by the ability to use it for business functions. e mail tops the list. Support for Microsoft Exchange is available for iPhone owners,




but not from Apple.

IT managers cringe at the concept of granting iPhone owner access to SMTP or IMAP considering it would require opening up a gap in the company’s firewall. that is a very big no-no.
