As embarrassing as it is to confess it, I’m pretty rubbish at contemporary gaming. Perhaps it’s my hitch-hiker’s thumb, or perhaps my difficulty focusing on fast-moving objects, but I do prefer a tactical, nicely-paced game rather than anything that involves jumping across moving
platforms or shooting things until they blow up. That’s why I’m so taken with the notion of
Interactive Fiction on the iPhone.
