The iPhone is friendly to Youtube. The computer/video site which has its own base of fans and addicts is available through a simple push of the button on the iphone. You can watch your favourite videos while waiting in a doctor’s office or standing in line. The videos are accessible through WiFi or edge. 10,000 videos were ready this June with more being added as time progresses.

It’s ironic that the device allows you to watch videos but does not allow you to make a video. That will be a feature on the next generation of this product, or so would be my guess.

The phone has been named “The Invention of the Year” due to its many features and pure entertainment value. The above talk about YouTube is one example of how Apple’s listening to the public has gained them fame and money beyond the original expectations.

The main edge for a device today is to be convenient and small. The iphone accomplishes both of these. It also allows the user to feel connected to the things we’ve begun to

think we can’t live without. You can talk virtually anywhere to anyone you chose instead of having to find a phone booth. I haven’t seen one of those in a long time. You can also access the worldwide web with a touch of a finger.

It is to Apple’s credit that they thought ahead of the game and our advantage that this device has been manufactured. The constant advancement of technology has made the world a larger and smaller place. It connects with a press of a button on a small screen whether we’re in the desert or the room next door but somewhat makes it easier for us to avoid social connection because there’s less need to talk person to person.

However you weigh in on these new devices there is no denying that they are cool and fun and aren’t going anywhere soon. Being older I’ve forced myself to get acquainted with things like YouTube, iphones and ipods. It helps me stay connected with the world and by learning new devices I can see the reflections of the public thought.
