It started in United States when the organic farming advocates started to queue in front of the store where the 3G iPhone will be sold, few days before July 11. They have pitched their tents along with their friends, and even their families. AT&T already announced that the stores will open as early as 8 in the morning on July 11.

Afterwards, the people from New Zealand followed suit. Despite the very cold weather outside, there are already four people who camped outside the Vodafone store located in Auckland. This includes a 22-year old student who just queued because of a bet. He said in an interview that if he can wait until the Vodafone store

opens, without leaving the site (except to go to the toilet), then his friends will buy the 3G iPhone for him. Vodafone will also start selling the 3G iPhones on July 11.

The early queue trend has already reach Asia. And just like in New Zealand, the temperature in Tokyo, Japan is also freezing cold. However, that didn’t stop the iPhone fanatics to fall in line days before July 11. As of the moment, there are already 20 people in queue outside Softbank’s flagship mobile store. They even have signs saying that they love the iPhone. Softbank Corp. is expected to open their stores on July 11, as early as 7 in the morning for the 3G iPhone customers.
