App Cubby has announced the release of Gas Cubby 1.0 for the iPhone and today. It’s available for immediate purchase and download from the App Store and costs $4.99.

Gas Cubby helps you track your vehicle’s mileage and maintenance. It features service reminders and full-screen charts customized for your car. Gas Cubby can support multiple vehicles at one time, and provides information on miles-per-gallon, gas price, gas expenses and service expenses for your vehicles in real time.

Other features include searching and filtering for analysis and the ability to create new charts based on the filtered data. You can also store vehicle data such as VIN, license plate and insurance policy info. You can export data to an Excel-compatible (CSV) format report, then e-mail it as an attachment to wherever you wish.

Yet another solid, useful utility for the iPhone to consider grabbing if your vehicle isn’t something you think about all the time.
