   This device does NOT work for iPhones. It will charge iPods but simply does nothing for iPhones.

   The TBA650 Portable charger for iPod does charge the iPhone. I have an iphone and use it all the time. It gives me about %75 charge from one set of batteires when my iPhone is dead. Its a great product. It als works with any 4th generation or newer ipod.

   I’d buy one if it really works for an iPhone but the manufacturer’s site does not say any of their products work with one. This makes me a bit scared that even if the adapter fits it still might harm the phone. Here is their product page: http://turbocellcharge.com/v2/cart.php?action=shop

   It does say

   Includes:
   1 Turbo Charge Unit (Black Finish)
   2 “AA” Batteries
   1 iPod / iPhone Adapter

   so i would imagine the fact they have put iPod/iPhone Adaptor means it is compatible with the iPhone

   Correction it does also say not currently compatible with 2g/3g iPhone
