The 8GB iPhone in UK in all Carphone Warehouse were completely sold out all over the country. In a company statement, Carphone Warehouse said that their price promotion of cutting £100 off the iPhone 8GB was extremely successful, allowing many of its customers enjoy the iPhone experience. However, it would not be restocking its shelves for the existing iPhone to prepare for the launch of the new iPhone model.

Due to the unexpected demand of

the 8GB iphone, Carphone Warehouse is reviewing its stock situations. However, in the meantime, customers can still avail of the 16GB iPhone at the standard price.

O2 has also been reported to be low on iPhone stocks. Its online stock has been sold out and there are only limited units in the stores.

Both Carphone Warehouse and O2 are thinking on whether to order additional 8GB iphones or wait for the upcoming 3G version.
