United Airlines passengers to connect iPhone and iPod on the plane

People are still wondering why they have to pay extra fifteen dollars for the checked bag whenever they take the United Airlines. But it would certainly entice more passengers to take the United Airlines now that it adds another entertainment system while you are in flight. This includes the iPhone as well as an iPod connectivity.

However, don’t use your iPhone to talk with your colleagues or business partners just yet. The iPhone connectivity that the airline is referring to would only allow you to listen or watch the contents on your iPhone or your iPod on the United Airlines’ 15.4 inch television. Moreover, you can also charge the battery of your iPod or iPhone at the same time.

The first flight where this entertainment system is available took place only this week. It was the flight from Washington D.C. going to Zurich then dropping on Switzerland before landing on United.

Unfortunately, this system will not be available to those who will be taking domestic flights anytime soon. Moreover, the iPhone and the iPod connectivity will not also be available for those who will be in economy class.

According to the airline’s press release they are reconfiguring the aircraft for the next two years so that they could meet the entertainment demands of their first class and business class passengers.

So if you are always flying United Air, then its time to upgrade so that you can use this entertainment system on your next trip.
