Google has just rolled out some new features for Google Reader Mobile with some additional changes particularly for iPhone and iPod Touch users which should manufacture the user experience even better.In case you have not noticed the new features you can find out all the details after the jump.

Some of the features rolled out today courtesy Google Reader Blog are as mentioned below:

• User Interface has been changed to assemble it easier to navigate and choose often-used urls.
• Navigational buttons have been moved to the top of the page.
• Option to disable reformatting linked web sites for mobile phones.
• Ability to see trends notes on which feeds are viewed on mobile.
• You can now change the number of feed items displayed.

Moving Navigation buttons such as All Items, Feeds and Tags to the top of the page is a intelligent tweak in the user interface as whether you have been using the iPhone or iPod Touch for sometime now or have been reading the iPhone Tips & Tricks here ayou would know that you can easily move to the top of the page in iPhone’s Safari browser by simply tapping on the status bar.

The option of disabling reformatting link

websites for mobile phones is another nice feature as iPhone and iPod Touch are capable of displaying websites as-is thanks to its Safari browser.

If you are interested in checking out the trends documents on which feeds you view most on your mobile, go to Trends section in Google Reader on your computer’s browser, thereupon go on “Read on mobile” Tab next to the “Emailed” Tab as can be seen in screenshot below.
