Truphone is a mobile VoIP operator based in London. The company started offering its service in 2006 for the Nokia phones such as the E series and the N series. Last July 11, when the 3G iPhone had its debut, the version of Truphone for the iPhone was released and became available in the iTunes App Store.

If you wish want to call someone’s landline, it would only cost you as much as 6 cents every minute. The fee for calling a mobile phone is 30 cents every minute. Sending text messages would cost you 20 cents. If you want to call another Truphone user, you do not have to pay for anything.

However, you must be in certain countries such as United Kingdom, United States, China, Europe, and Australia. Also, don’t forget that you have to be located in a Wi-Fi spot.
