VoodooPad, a note-taking application from Gus Mueller’s Flying Meat Software, can now be extended via plug-ins. VoodooPad user Georg Kaindl has developed a “web export plug-in”, which would encode the entire VoodoPad document as JavaScript bookmarklet, working perfectly with the iPhone’s Safari browser.

Called as VoodooPhone, the plug-in exports your documents and images, then creates a long bookmarklet to open automatically into the Safari. Once you’ve saved it as a bookmark in the device’s browser, you can sync it to your iPod touch or iPhone and all the information you need
Although using the VoodooPhone for regular web export and uploading to the server is a good solution for using VoodooPad documents from your iPhone, this method requires an active Internet connection, so if you lose signal, you can still view all the data on the iPhone.
