In that composition written by Jamie Lendino by at PC Magazine, who recently interviewed Shawn Freeman, the CTO of Handango, Shawn predicts WAP (Wireless Application Protocol) could very well go away in 2 years:

“He suggested that in light of the iPhone’s release, and the fact that it browses real Web pages using Safari, it’s fair to expect




that WAP (Wireless Application Protocol) pages will vanish by the next year or two.”
