The rumor of an iPhone Software update has been a enlarged day coming (if 1 month for you is a expanded time). We’ve (you have) awaited anxiously and have speculated the heck about the iPhone. However, there are some things I’d like to see included.
The Keyboard
Although I like typing on the iPhone’s keyboard I just wish every Application would utilize it in wide screen view. Sometimes I’ll get iPhone finger from having to bend back my thumbs to hold the phone. uncommonly adequate whether the iPhone was double the size thereupon I could hold it perfectly. But since I am a little short of fattening my iPhone I turn it sideways and it’s easier to type on.
The wide screen keyboard is only available under Safari which is fine for Blogging but when I want to write out an e mail or type up something in notes my fingers tire after a bit holding it in portrait mode.
iCal
ICal on the iPhone is one of those things that really just bugs the heck out of me for one reason. No To Do’s! How can you have a calendar with no To Do’s is beyond me. I instead have to write them
Another gripe is the lack of multiple calendar support. I cannot view more than the default calendar. Should I need to add another an event or clear one out i’ll have to move them to the unmistaken category later when I get home.
Word Processing
The only way to type something on the iPhone is to either use Notes or resort to Safari. While there are many online text editors sometimes we may not have a good World Wide Web connection. It may be a poor area or we may be in Airplane mode so we are limited to local resources. Notes is fine and all but I can’t sync them by to my computer where I can access them. It’s annoying considering sometimes my posts will not save on the iPhone or that I’ll lock it up and find Safari hasn’t cached the page and is reloading it.
whether Apple could port by iWork to the iPhone so we can sync documents by that would be awesome.
