So there is a number of public that have noticed something interesting in Safari. A pop-up that appears in positive situations on the browser has been intriguing many users, but what is the purpose of that “Action” button?

Pressing and holding in the margins of a webpage brings up a small pop-up titled, “Action.” It is rather simple to recreate, so I tried it out and there it was–a little box that pops up. The screen will go dark and the little intriguing “Action” box pops up.

No one is not quite certain what

it does. As far as I can see, nothing is happening. I only hope not anyway!

Steps to bring it up:

- Open Safari on the iPhone

- Visit a page with some margins

- Tap-and-hold inside the margin, the screen is dimmed

- Hold your finger perfectly still for 2 seconds

- An “Action” popup menu appears

Perhaps that is a bug, or it may be something hidden within the mysterious iPhone…. I can only dream.
