The WWDC is just a few days away and yet Apple hasn’t revealed anything solid about their next-generation iPhone. However, IT directors as well as CIOs are already thinking of some features that they want to see on the new iPhone that is expected to be launched on June 9. These are the features that they think would turn the iPhones into a more enterprise-friendly device.

iPhone

First on the list is the tighter security as well as an excellent remote management. Since most users of the iPhone are business men, they need a feature that would draw the line between personal use and business functions. According to them, one of their concerns regarding iPhones is the lack of the device’s central management mechanism.

The next feature that they wish that the new iPhone

would have is the flexible mail client. They all wish that iPhones would have a similar interface like that of the BlackBerry’s.

Aside from these two, the COIs and the IT directors would like to have a stronger warranty when it comes to their iPhones. According to Albert Lee, the IT director of the New York Media LLC, Apple as well as AT&T must first work out their current iPhone warranty before they deploy a larger scale of iPhones. Currently, the iPhone warranty only has a limited warranty cover which includes limited repairs. Moreover, the repairs that must be done on the iPhone should be set up directly at Apple and not through AT&T. They want to have an insurance plan from AT&T for their iPhones that were seriously damaged or broken while in use.
