Apple Inc. has already released the second-generation iPhone. It’s already almost a week since the debut and the euphoria has calmed down a little. Of course, verdicts were expected to come up.

Olga Kharif of the Business Week said that the latest and the innovated iPhone is truly a winner, a real smartphone indeed. However, the hottest mobile phone today still needs more polishing.

Talking about the design, Olga Kharif said that the 3G iPhone is better compared to the original iPhone. It is more sophisticated-looking and sleeker. Moreover, it fits perfectly into the user’s palm because of its curved back.

As for the price and its capabilities, the 3G iPhone can be compared to

RIMM’s BlackBerry Curve or Instinct from Samsung. But the cost of maintaining the 3G iPhone is quite expensive. It would cost you as much as $100 a month for the maintenance cost of the new iPhone. The same cost will be allocated if you are using Samsung Instinct. But it would only take $70 for the maintenance cost of a BlackBerry Curve every month.

But the greatest thing about the latest iPhone is the hundreds of available applications that can be downloaded for the device.

All in all, the verdict for the 3G iPhone is good, not excellent. It still has flaws that need to be fixed by Apple Inc. or else it will eventually lose its clients.
