If you’re planning on getting a bit rough’n’tumble with your iPhone in tow, it’s a good notion to get your sleek handset some protection.  I mean, it can take the odd drop and scrape, but being thrown from, say, a moving mountain bike probably counts as cruel and strange punishment!  Among the options are XtremeMac’s new range of wraps and cases for the handset, using brawny materials like neoprene, silicone and leather to swaddle that slice of Apple loveliness.

On that bike, the SportWrap probably is your best bet: it has a velcro strap to fix to your arm and a clear screen protector so you can still shuffle amoung your favourite cycling tunes (I personally recommend Spandau Ballet’s Gold when attempting steep hills).  It has a moisture-resistant lining, too, to keep out sweat, and a dinky little pocket for your keys or a small religious artefact.
